Feature Friday

Well here it is Friday and time for a challenge over at the character cafe. This week is to use an image along with "red, ribbon & rinestones." I had a great time with this as I always do. I choose "Cupcake Rosebud".

Isn't she cute. Once again I used my copics to color her. I added rinestones to her skirt. Pop dotted her on red. Addded glitter to the ribbon and her eyes. I just love the spiac pens by copic. Be sure and go by to check out all the great things the whole design team has done.

Stamping Morning

This morning I had a great 3 hours stamping and crafting with my Best friend "EVE" via web cam. We always have a blast just crafting and catching up with each others lives.

The top card was made using the butterfly punch from Stampin up. I love the way they turned out. I sent this card off all ready to my aunt and uncle. I really think they will enjoy it.

The next card is so cute. My brother paints when he isn't driving his rig. I am thinking I will send it off to him as a just thinking of you card.

This card is made using several punches. Once again I think I will send it off to my Uncle who has a farm and likes "John Deer" He always lets us stay with him when we come to Missouri for a visit. Just a little something to say "Thank You".

This card is made to look like an "IPOD". Really cute for that teen that can't seem to get them out of thier ears.Would make a really cute Happy Birthday card. Hope you have enjoyed this post and that they insipre you to maybe dust off all those punches you have and get crafty.

As Promised

         Well It's Monday and I promised you my take on the new challenge over at character cafe This week the challenge is to use ribbon or bow, tag and 2 buttons.

            I choose to use the new release image "this little piggy". I have been wanting to do something with him ever since I saw him. I think he is the cutest. Once again I used my copics to color him, spicas glitter pens to add a little glitter to his ears and eyes. Popped up his nose and cake plate. sponged the edges and the tag.

Challenges

The challenges out in blogger world are very plentiful, all you need do is look. My challenge this week was to visit blog world and do some challenges. I choose to use the image "forever Friends" from the charactercafe.
I have made this card to enter in three challenges:

The first being sew many challenges The challenge is "anything goes"

The second is raise the bar challenge The challenge being "it's all about the bag. Use your favorite bag as your inspiration. Mine being my new "Vera Bradley" I just got.

The third and final one is get sketchy which as always is a sketch.
I colored the images with copics. I cut out the "lady bug" and the head of  "chibis" and pop dotted them. The saying is from "stampin up" The background paper is "K&company" Hope you have enjoyed my creation.

Week End Fun

Last Week End we went to my parents house in Missouri. A few years ago My Step Mom Passed away and she saved everything. Upon going through her things We came across a ton of cards. A lot from the 50's and 60"s. So I was in heaven when I came across them. Being the vintage images and all. They are really great. You just can't find them like these anymore. I know there are at least 200 or 300 the tub we brought back was full. Looking forward to scanning them in and using them to make some great creations.Hope you have a great day and happy crafting.

Challenge

I used the Mum image from character cafe. I truly love this Image.

I colored it with my copics. Punched out the image and then punched out the center from another image and pop dotted it, adding glitter. Then pop dotted the the whole image.added some white ribbon and layered it on a blank card I have in my stach. I used the saying from a retired stampin up set. hope this inspires you to jump in and challenge yourself . Have a great day and happy crafting.

New challenge

The Friday Feature challenge over at character cafe is to recyle or reuse any item from your home. I choose to recyle an empty drink mix container.

I took the outside cover off and washed it out. These are plastic and can be used for a lot of differnt things.

I covered it with "K&Company background paper. Used the I love you this much image  from character cafe May new releases. I used copics and spica glitter markers to color her. Added "Dad" to the can using foam letters. covered the lid with the background paper added a ribbon around the edge of the lid.
   My dad likes to suck on hard candy while surfing the web. I thought he could put this next to his compter and when ever he reaches for a piece of candy he will think of me. My parents live in Missouri and I live in Tenn. We are about 12 hours apart. We go to Mssouri about every six months. We are  actually  with them today and will be going back home on Sunday. Special card

This project is a special one. My Aunt Glenda who is very crafty has taken my wiard of oz quilt blocks and made me a quilt. She is very special to me and it means alot that she would do this for me. So I have made her a very special card to show her how much she means to me.

Also with the card I a special plate to give her. It says " What's stitched with love will never tear"I thought she could hang it in her sewing room. She makes quilts for her grandkids and great grandkids. The sewing image is from "Cheeky Radishes" They have some really cute images. I loved this one for the card because she loves to sew. My image for the hop is "Mums" I love this image. When I first saw it I thought note cards. I love them.

I made the holder using a templet for a purse. I adjusted the size a little to hold the cards and enevlopes. I rubbed the mums with chaulk. Aren't they cute. I know any mom would really love this project if you made it.

As Promised

Well, I have been working on a card for my mom for "Mothers Day". I found this cute image at The Digi Shack.
