Another Challenge

I am really trying to catch up on my crafting today. I have had a headach all day But still have found time to do some crafting.
The challenge over at is to make a project using purple, white & a touch of black. Today is the last day to enter so you still have time to join. But you better hurry.

Once again I used an image from Stamping Boutique. Isn't she cute. Well I better go and get this posted so I might have a chance to win. Thanks for looking.

Cute & A Challenge

I came across and fell in love with all the cute digi's they have avalible. I know I always say that. But I have a thing for cute stamping and digi's.  I just can't seem to get away from them. They are also having a design team call. They are taking apps till tomorrow. So be sure and stop by to check out all the cute stuff they have.

I used copics to color the images. The background paper is from reminisce. The card stock is pretty in pink from stampin up. I also used the font cd from stampin up. The images are from I said isn't she cute.
I decided to use this card for a challenge entry over at .The challege is to use any digi saying or image to make project. So after making this I decided to use this one. If you love digi's the way I do this challenge is for you. The prize this week is from Your choice of 5 images. Wow wouldn't that be great.
I really need to be careful. I could spend my whole paycheck on digi's. I seem to be collecting them and then don't use half that I have. But Then I always have them if I need them. lol If honey only knew how much I had invested in digi's. Unlike rubber stamps I can hide digi's pretty easy. lol  A file and you can have 100's . They sure don't take up much space which is another good thing about them.
Have a great day and happy stamping.

The challenge over at this week is to make a project using gold & black. They have changed requirements for their challenges to include not only those with a gypsy or design studio but all that have a cricut. I do not have either but I do love my cricut. So I thought I would try my hand at the challenge.

I made this card using the new Sweetheart cartridge. The main color is black with gold as the accents. The inside has a gold heart, I did add a little white heart to the inside sponged in black. This is done so that the saying can be seen.

I had a great time making this. My husband and I will be away for Valentines day. He has gotten me tickets to see "Wicked" in North Carolina. So I am going to pack this one up and take it with us.

As Promised

I just finished spending the last three hours with my friend in Florida making some great cards. I had such a great time. In three hours we made 5 cards. Her ideas just flow. I wish I could come up with the ideas as fast as she can .

For this  first card we used the set spring song on pg 102 of the catalog.  I would never have thought to cut the humming bird out that way, but I really think it just makes the card pop.

This card is made using love you much on pg 44 in the catalog. using red , white & black.  Very simple but very nice. Little rinestones were added to the center of several of the flowers.
This card is made using the hostess set Love Bug.  I plan on putting the saying "Thats what we are" on the inside.

These last two cards were made using punches. The one with polar bears is using clear acetate as the base card. Making the bears out of ovals and circles. The ice cream card is also made using circles and ovals. I just love them all. I don't really think I could choose which one is my favorite.
If you like these and would like to know more about how they were made  be sure and stop by Eve would be more than happy to answer your questions  just ask. Hope everyone is having a stamping great day. I am offto work on a bullention board for work using my cricut.

Well it's been over a week and not much going on. I have doing a little. Mostly coloring images and getting things ready for Valentines day.

Just a few of the images I have been working on. When I get them together I will post what I have done.
Last Thursday I was at a stamp club meeting via web cam. We had a great time. Here is a few of the item's we did.

I have a great stampin up rep. She just happens to be my best friend. The only problem is she lives in Casselberry Fla. So I join in on all the fun every month. I am going to Fla in April for a week end to drop off a friend and pick up a camper. We will be having a stamping night while I am there. I can hardly wait.
We are going to be stamping again tomorrow. When we are done I will be posting here all the great things we have done.

Back in the grove

Well, two projects in two days. I am really getting things back together. Next week is my brothers birthday and he is turning 47. It seems like only yesterday we were kids and fussing at each other. He isn't my only brother I have 6 and 1 sister. I am going to try and make cards for them all this year. Sometimes  it seems the birthdays slip up faster then I relize. Ok enough of that on to the card.

I used the scalloped die for the big shot from stampin up and the top note die. I love this owl. When I saw him I just had to have the dies to make him. The paper & ribbon are also from stampin up.The background paper is from a unknown company.
I know he will get a kick out of it. Hope you have a great day & happy stamping.

Blog hop challenge

Over at they are haing a blog hop and challenge. The challenge is to make a project using an image from Since I have left the design team I am joining in on the fun.

I used several differnt images. I used toga pulling a sleigh of packages, replacing the packages with the snowman from elsie blowing ice cubes. I also too the hat on toga from a freebie of a snowman. The scraf around his neck is from another snowman image. I used copic's to color all the images. The background paper and words are from They have some really cute papers. The solid paper is from Stampin up. I also punched out the snowflakes and added glitter. I used liquid applique on the snowman, hat & dripped it down toga's back.
I thought the sentiment was just right. Right now our weather is about 15 degrees with ice & snow everywhere. I am so glad we don't live any closer up north or west. What we have is more then enough.
Besure and check out all the great stuff at

Happy New Year

Hope everyone's new year is starting out wonderful. We have been so busy with the Kids moving out and trying to get the house back in order. That not much crafting has been done so I have checked out some of my more negelated cereations and thought I would post one or two. I will get back to creating  hopefully the first of the week.

I made this card last year for a friend. She gave it to her step dad. She said he spends all his time sitting in his
chair looking out the window. I made him and his window using my cricut. I'm not sure which cartridge They are from. But I enjoyed making it. I plan on doing more with the cricut this year. Have a great day and be sure to check back soon to see all the new things coming up.
