I finally got my Christmas cards done last night.I used my cricket expression. I used the wild card cartridge. I made the cards using button # 43. The ornament card set on 3.5 then used the liner button to cut the front out. I used Cosmo cricket background paper for the ornament part of the card & added a stamped Merry Christmas from Stampin up.  Punched out a small snow flake glittered it . Added some cording and they were done. Very easy and Cute.

Hope everyone has a ery Merry Christmas!!!!!!

We used the top note sizzix die  "only availbe through stampin up" and made four of the cutest little gift card holders. You use a full top note for the front and attach half a top note to the back just around the edges leaving the center open in order to place your gift card.

We used whisper white for the snowman, blush blossom for the elf & santa, close to cocoa for the reindeer. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them.

Tuesday Challenge

The challenge over at http://digital.sewmanycards.com/ is to use images from not only sewmany cards but also from http://thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/. I had a wonderful time with this card. So many things can be made using these images.

Here is a little bit about the owner of the cutting cafe, Regina. She has some wonderful stuff.
Hello my name is Regina Easter. I have 4 wonderful children and an awesome supportive husband. I have for as long as I can remember loved all the aspects of creating things with paper and drawing. So it was only fitting that I decided to open up The Cutting Cafe' and I am loving every bit of this new venture. The Cutting Cafe' offers affordable Printable Stamps and Cutting Files. The Cutting Files which are basically just like templates are files that you Print out using your home printer, Cut, Assemble and then Embellish.....Very Easy.....The Cutting Files also come in the format where you can cut out the files using some of the latest Machine Cutters like the Pazzles Inspiration, Bosskut Gazelle and Cricut (with Scal software). The Printable Stamps are just that, images that are sent to you through email that you print out using your home printer. After the images are printed out, you can just color them in like you would any other stamped imaged...One great thing about the Printable Stamps and Cutting Files is that you no longer have to worry about finding space to store all of your stamps....You can keep them all in a folder in your computer and use over and over again.

Be sure and check out the cutting cafe. You will be very surprised by all the great stuff she has. And all the many uses you will find for her images & sayings. Have a great day and happy stamping.

WOW, TUESDAY

Here it is Tuesday already. Time is starting fly now. A few things to update First off in order to get the friday freebie over at http://digital.sewmanycards.com/ you will need to sign up for the news letter. You can find a sign up button on my side bar. And believe me you will want to do that if you haven't already.
Next this week's challenge over at http://digital.sewmanycards.com/ is to make a card using only brown, green & orange card stock. You can use any color on the image. I had so much fun. I used a new image from sewmanycards. His name is Hershey. I just think he is the cutest.

The thing I like most about the digi world is the option to be able to make your images differnt sizes. I started out with all the images the same size then choosen differnt sizes when printing. The flexabilty is just awesome.
The next news I have is so awesome. I was given a cricut for mothers day. But I have been drulling over an experssion for awhile. Well after much soul searching and penny pinching. Selling some unused stamps and such. I ordered an expression this morning from http://www.hallmarkscrapbook.com/ I searched for several days to find the best deal. There are so many out there. But for $239.00 you get two cartridges with it. So it was the best deal for my money. And they say it is already complete and on it's way. Talk about fast. I should have it the first of next week. Boy I will still have time to play befor I go back to work.
Have a great day and happy stamping and crafting.

CHALLENGES

I thought since have so much time off I would give some challenges a try. So I have made a card for two differnt challenges. The first being using the primary colors over at http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ I use Eris from over at http://digital.sewmanycards.com/ I just love all her images. My anniversary is coming up and I thought I would use this challenge to make a card.
The second challenged I used this card for is over at http://www.charismacardz.blogspot.com/. it  was to use this sketch

I really think it turned out pretty good.

Craft Area

I spent most of yesterday afternoon & last night cleaning and rearranging my craft area. So while it clean and straight I thought I would let you see where I do what I do. Better look quick it won't be this neat for long. lol

My husband made me this cool rack to put some of my punches on. He is my biggest supporter of all things crafting. He is always trying to make my area better for me and coming up with ways to make it better.

The other pic is my die cut cart. It was a Tv stand at one point. But is the perfect height for under my counter and is on wheels so it can roll out.

Had to share!!!!!!

My Best Friend "Eve" whom lives in Florida & is my stampin up Demo has just sent me my monthly box. Boy was it stuffed full. She is a wonderful Demo & very creative person. I wanted to share with you a couple of cards that was in this months box. I just loved all the cards she sent but, these two just WOWED me. Hope you enjoy them as much as I have. If you have any questions or comments feel free to visit her site http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/evebent/ and ask. I know she would be more then happy to help.

They are both made using punches.  She is going to be letting me know which ones she used for the witch.
For the " Diva" she used the large oval punch for her head and hair. I know it is just too cute. I will be recreating both of these at a later date. I have someone special I want to make a "Diva" for. Have a great day and enjoy.

New design team members

Please join me in welcoming  Two new Design Team Members.....Sherry Logan!! & Mary Sieczkowski  They have joined the sewntogether design team. Besure and stop by thier blogs and say Hi. I know you will enjoy all thier great ideas. I have added a link to thier blogs on the side under design team members. So Welcome ladies and can't wait to see all your great stuff.

Tuesday Finnally!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How funny is it that when your working and running around time just fly's. But when your laid up and want time to fly a little it just seems to crawl. It has barley been 6 days since I had me knee surgery and yet it seems like it should be a lot longer. Having to be off work for a month and not doing much is going to drive me and my family bonkers. I am not one to sit still very well.
Oh well, enough of that on to this weeks challenge over at http://digital.sewmanycards.com/ . The challenge this week is to sew on your project. It can be real sewing, fake stiches or paper priecing. It is your choice. Besure and link your project back to "Sew many cards" in order to be considered for the prize Angela has to offer. Here is my take on the challenge. I had so much fun I had to do two. Hope you like them.

EASEL CARD

Today is my Futrure son in laws birthday. He is a skull collector. He and my daughter enjoy all things skull. I saw this card on another blog. Thought I would try my hand in it. Hope you like it.

This is the closed view. It is 5x5.

This is it open. the birthday on the bottom holds it
up in the easel shape.

and this is the side view showing you how it works.

The main card is a 5"x10" sheet. score at 5" & 2.5". Then you need a 5"x 5" square for the front. attach the 5" x5" to the 2.5" score area to make the easel. Only attach the bottom part of the 5x5 so it will bend. I hope you can understand. Here is a direct link to directions http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c191/d0npen/Card%20Templates/?action=view&current=4x4EaselCard2.jpg
