Feature Friday

Well it's that time again over at character cafe. This week the challeneg is to :

Use the color Orange

Add Ribbon

And two embelishments

     I choose to use the image " Witch Olga" Isn't she cute? I used copics to color her. I made two copies of her and cut out her hat and caldurn and pop dotted them up off the image. I then sponged around the edges and layered  the image on black and orange card stock. I had some Halloween embelishments I got last year after Halloween on sale.{I love to shop after a holiday and get stuff cheaper.}

    Besure and go by the character cafe to check out all the great stuff the new design team has come up with. While there besure and join ion on the challange in order to have a chance at a free image.

Challenges

This week at the character cafe I am out and about in blog world. But be sure and go by to check out this week sketch challenge for a chance at some awesome images and more. So on my tour around I found a couple differnt challenges.

The first being ~ trimmies craft challenge challenge being ~ teens

The second being ~ paper play challenges challenge being ~ shades of brown

I choose to use the image "Sweet Rosebud" I just love all the chibis. They are so darn cute. I have a pre teen granddaughter that will love this card. Mainly because this is somethiong she would try with her parents. I used copics to color her and added some spica glitter pens to the flowers and bows. I popped up the bows, heart and flowers. Then pop dotted her on the card. The boarder punch is from stampin up. Hope you enjoy this project.

    Well this is my last week during this term at the character cafe. I have applied for the next term but haven't heard yet. Though I may not be on the team next term, This will not be the last you see of the cafe here. Because I love using their stuff. It is fun and you can get them at a really great cost. I will let you know if they choose to let me stay. I sure am looking forward to seeing what they come up with next month.

Challenges

Wow it's Sunday already. Where did the week end go. I did get a little crafting in. I found three challenges to enter this card in.

The first being ~ ssds challenge ~ A Birthday card

The second being ~ stampin for the weekend ~ Tag it

The last one being ~ stamp-n-doodle ~ Purple, brown and one more color

I choose to use the image "this little piggie" from the character cafe . I used copics to color him. Then sponged around the edges of the tag. I used a martha stewart punch to do the trim. Added ribbon in yellow and purple. I also used velum to make a small pocket to put the tag in. The colors I used are bown, purple & yellow all from stampin up.

 Don't forget to go by and check out the design team call over at the character cafe they have extended the dead line till Wed. the 22nd.  Hope you have a great week end and happy crafting.

Feature Friday

This month at the  character cafe is sketch month. Every week there will be a new sketch for you to use with your card or project. You can move things around a little as long as the original sketch can still be seen. This weeks sketch :

I choose to use "Froggin Rock" for my card this week. He is fast becoming my favorite from this months release. He can be used for so many things. I just love him.

As you can see I moved my buttons side ways instead of up and down. I colored him with my copics. I added glitter to his hair and lightly over the water. I also added a glossy glaze to the water. All the papers are from Stampin up. I added goggle eyes to him this time. Thought they just gave him that rockin look.
  Tomorrow is the last day to enter your application for the next design team at cafe. So if you like what you have seen here and enjoy their wonderful images be sure and go by and get your application in before it's too late.

Back Again

I told I would be back. Last week we had our stampin up club night Via the web cam. I love getting together with all my Florida friends. Eve is an awesome friend and we always have a blast. Here are a couple projects we made.

I think they are both so cute. The girl kind of reminds me of my sister in law "Monica" They live in coca beach fla. I can see here just laying out on the beach taking it all in.The dresser is just in the beginning stage. It still needs maybe some small clothes and a bear. Just a little something to dress it up. But I just think it is so cute. Have a great day and happy crafting.

FairyKnoll Challenge

Wow, the week end went fast. When I have to work it doesn't usually go that fast. Ok enough now on to the new challange over at fun at fairy knoll . This week along with the sketch the challange is to do something MONOCHROMATIC and get two chances at  a free image.

I choose to use a freebie  got. I colored the image wit copic and spica glitter pens. I printed the image out on the back ground paper and cut out the Mushroom. The paper and the flowers are by K company.

      Don't forget  that the Knoll is having a design team call right now. More New Challenges

I have once again been out and about in blog world. Seeing what kind of challenges I can come up with. This time I choose two differnt ones.

The first being ~ abc-challenge The challenge being ~ charms

The second being ~ my time to craft challenge The challenge being ~ jewelled

I choose to use the image "Relaxing Rosebud" from the character cafe. I colored her with copics and spica glitter pens. I added jewels to her skirt, and flower leaf. I added a charm to the yellow button. It says "hand made with love". I made this for my sister's 50th birthday. Hope she likes it.

Fairy Knoll Challenge

Well, I missed last week's challenge. The week just got away with me. The challenge this week at fun at fairy knoll is "Vintage glam". I choose to use a freebie I got awhile back.  

      I thought the paper just said retro. I love the brown and blues in it. I colored her with my copics and spica glitter pens. The buttons on the side are vintage. My son in law gave a can of buttons from his mom. I just love digging through them to see what I can find.

New challenges

I have been so quite this week. I did something to my back. I tryed to see the doc but unable to get in till next week. So I have been taking it easy. But I am sick of that so I searched blog world to find some new challenges. I came up with 3.

I choose to use "Rockin Fredrik" from the new releases over at character cafe going on right now.  I used copics to color him. Sponged around the edges & added glossy glaze to the rock and gitar. I made his hair several differnt colors. He just looked like the type of frog who would do that. Added the ribbon and buttons to the side , Placed the charm at the knot. Wow, were has the time gone. I can hardly believe that it is new release time again already. Once again the images are great. If you came here from angie"s your on the right track if not start Here. My image this month is called "GERALDINE"

Isn't she cute. I colored her with copics. I printed two images. I cut out her head and popped dotted it back on. I added sliver cording to to her body and pop dotted up her top. sponged the grass and sky, then layered on the brown , pink and yellow. Hope you enjoy this project.
